What is The Playfully Planted Foundation?
We’re a Christian-based nonprofit dedicated to delivering educational, skill-building toys to children in underserved communities—starting with 58 villages and over 4,000 kids in Ecuador. Our mission is rooted in sharing God’s love through the joy of play, planting seeds of hope, creativity, and faith in every child we serve.
How do I know my donation is making a difference?
We share updates, photos, and impact stories on our Facebook and Instagram pages, showing exactly where your support is going and the kids you're helping.
How can I get involved beyond donating?
You can volunteer, host a toy drive, sponsor a village, or help spread the word online! Just send us a message—we’d love to have you on board.
What does my financial contribution go towards?
Monetary donations help cover shipping, tariffs, customs fees, and other costs that make the toy delivery possible
What kinds of toys do you collect?
- Educational or skill-building
- Imaginative (like blocks, puzzles, pretend play sets)
- No toys with batteries
How can I donate toys?
You can drop off toys at one of our collection events or contact us to coordinate pickup. We also have an Amazon registry where items ship directly to us.

Are donations tax deductible?
We’re currently awaiting approval for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, which can take up to 90 days. Once approved, all donations will be retroactively tax-deductible from the date we submitted our application. We’ll include this note for now and look forward to updating it once our approval is official!
